About Us

Learn about how our family built a business.

Cold Spring Enterprises, Inc. was established and incorporated in 1977. The beginning years were experienced working out of an old existing chicken house located on our personal property. Much of the work during this time consisted of repair work for local farmers, wrought iron railings, and custom metal fab. Much of which dealt with the wood stove industry.

In 1987 our son Wendell joined CSE and created the beginning of a family working together that has lasted to this day. Soon after the business was moved to its current location. That move brought with it an additional effort to better meet the needs of our local community and to also reach out to the various industries and commercial businesses in our county and beyond. A new era of work opened and we entered the carport and light steel frame building industry alongside the custom metal fab side of the business.

Currently, Wendell is the president of the company and has alongside him two of his own sons and a nephew. With my presence, this creates a third generation and certainly qualifies us as a family business.

Other faithful employees have been added and are a welcomed addition to that enlarged “family” business atmosphere that reaches out into the community we serve.

The mission/goal of CSE is fourfold:

(1) To meet the needs of our customer base that we have been given.

(2) To manage the business in such a manner that it has a profitable report financially at the end of the year.

(3) To use that God-given profit in the manner that He can bless, and with the direction that He gives. This can be but is not limited to efforts for expansion, updating equipment, and to support church missions and nonprofit ministries. This may and does include local and domestic projects and those in foreign countries.

(4) To allow you as a part of our customer base to have the feeling of also being a team member. All glory to God!

God has richly blessed us and we give Him all Honor and Praise. God is good and He is that all the time.
